Blackout fabrics block almost all light passing through the material itself, but complete darkness depends on installation.
Light can still enter around the edges of the blind, particularly if fitted inside a window recess. Unless you use our Nightshade blinds which have a frame that stops the light escaping.
Blackout roller blinds are highly effective for bedrooms, nurseries and media rooms, but complete blackout may require side channels, curtains or layered window treatments.
